Joanie sold two a/c's ($1300) to a woman who lives in Hong Kong and has an apartment under renovation with her contractor in NYC. She got to us from the net. She called other companies, but Joanie was the only one who new what she was talking about and gave her the time. Our first net sale!

Wanted to let you know that we closed another successful corian sale today. This sale came directly from the web site. As a matter of fact the customer has never been in our actual store. I think our virtual storefront is giving us access to customer we may have never touched.

Subject: Business Internet Ad

Dear Terry,

I wanted to update you on response to my ad. As a direct result of
my on-line ad, I now have customers in Hawaii, Russia, Utah, Tennessee,
Florida, Alabama, Connecticut, North Dakota, Georgia, and others. In
addition, I have inquiries from Canada,California, Texas, Washington
state, India, and China.

As interesting as the wide geographical range are the types of
accounts who contact me through the internet. I now do business with
Hewlett Packard in Russia, a large restaurant chain in Honolulu, Hawaii,
Lockheed Martin Energy Systems, Boeing Aerospace, a federal prison
facility, and many others.

The internet has become my primary source for new business. The
biggest reason is that the amount of interest developed from the ad is
about as much as I can currently handle with the present staff. Sometime
soon, additional help will be needed.

Having tried yellow page ads, Thomas Register ads, direct mailings,
and so forth, there is no doubt the internet is the most economical and
far reaching advertising possible. I don't call my potential
customers.....they call me. When a potential customer comes to you, the
liklihood of success is increased ten fold.

Thank you again. I look forward to riding the wave of change and
interest as more and more companies and individuals access and order
products and services through the net.

Subject: GOOD NEWS

Hi Terry,

Hey good news, from the web site we have closed three sales this week that came
directly from web quotes! We also have floor traffic that came in because they checked us out on the web.

I'm not surprised, but it feels like success.

Be talking with you,

P.S. Took your advice about the "check us on the web" for our after hours
calls to the answering machine and I'll be sending you one of our WEB pens

Re : Shea Web Page

Dear Bill,

After having spoken with you just last week on a quote for corian tops for
my home, I was pleasantly surprised to find your Web page while searching the
internet for the reason that Corian is so expensive. It must be because of your elaborate Web page (only kidding). Actually, I wanted to take a moment to tell how impressive that your Web page is to read. I'm sure that I will be talking to you soon.

I have been eating at your restuarant and ordering take-out for over a year now. This is the first time I have visited your internet site. You have done as nice a job with your internet site as you have done in preparing your food. I normally order various chicken dishes and always find the chicken very fresh, well prepared and, unlike many chinese restaurants, with very little fat and skin on it. Keep up the good work. I know I will continue to enjoy it for years to come.

Was running a search and come across your shop ad. Been in Japan for over 7 yrs now, originally from Massachusetts. Currently own a 96 FLSTN, and a 92 1200 Sporty. The Sporty is in rough shape. I usually import several HD's each year. I've imported about 15 bikes over the past couple of years. Only Irons.

Currently VP of a Japanese/American MC over here. Some of the bike I have found have been bought through a prior business contact in Ma. If you have any straight clean original shovels and older please let me know.
